PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tempered glass plate having reinforced its strength with low damage.SOLUTION: A tempered glass plate has a tempered layer formed by the irradiation of atmospheric pressure plasma generated in the gas atmosphere comprising nitrogen, wherein the number of nitrogen atoms from a surface of the tempered layer to a depth of 2μm is 1×10/cmor more, and the number of nitrogen atoms shows a maximum value on the surface. |
