PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the high quality of an image printed on print paper.SOLUTION: A fixing device in the embodiment of the present invention includes: light emission means for radiating light on a print medium; detection means for detecting a reflection level of the light radiated on the print medium; fixing means which changes a fixing temperature; and fixing temperature determination means for determining a fixing temperature on the basis of the reflection level. The fixing temperature is changed to a temperature determined by the fixing temperature determination means and thereby the above problem is solved.
