PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve opening/closing timing control device capable of improving unlocking performance by shortening a time to unlocking in a most advance lock state or a most retard lock state.SOLUTION: A valve opening/closing timing control device A includes a housing 1 rotated synchronously with a crank shaft B1 of an engine B, an inner rotor 2 disposed coaxially with the housing 1 and rotated synchronously with a cam shaft B2, an intermediate locking mechanism 8 for locking and unlocking a relative rotation phase of the inner rotor 2 to the housing 1 in an intermediate lock phase, and a most retard lock mechanism 7 for locking and unlocking the relative rotation phase in the most retard phase. A first clearance angle as a rotatable angle of the inner rotor 2 to the housing 1 in a state that the most retard lock mechanism 7 is in a most retard lock state, is larger than a first clearance angle as a rotatable angle of the inner rotor 2 to the housing 1 in a state that the intermediate lock mechanism 8 is in the intermediate lock state. |
