PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a PAPR and control the degree of reduction of the PAPR in OFDM communication.SOLUTION: A modulation unit 11 generates a modulation signal from an input signal, and a serial-parallel conversion unit 12 generates a subcarrier modulation signal by performing serial-parallel conversion. A calculation unit 13 extracts one or more division units in sequence from the head from multiple division units in the subcarrier modulation signal, inserts insertion data at any position of before or after of each division unit, and generates calculation data. An IFFT unit 14 generates inverse transformation data by performing inverse fast Fourier transformation of the calculation data, and a determination unit 15 calculates the peak-to-average power ratio of a baseband signal based on the inverse transformation data. The calculation unit 13, IFFT unit 14, and determination unit 15 repeat the above-mentioned processing until the inverse transformation data of which the peak-to-average power ratio corresponds with a criterion is detected. A transmission unit 16 generates a transmission signal from the baseband signal generated by synthesizing the inverse transformation data corresponding with the criterion, and transmits it. |
