PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a counterweight including a counterweight adjustment table improved in manufacturability by making an adjustment table with an inexpensive member having sufficient strength even though the table has simple structure.SOLUTION: An elevator includes a cage and a counterweight 1 and moves up and down in a can hoisting manner. In the elevator, a shock absorber is set below the counterweight 1, a single or a plurality of adjustment tables 6a, 6b formed of H-shaped material is or are set on a portion positioning at the lower edge part of the counterweight 1 and the vertically upper part of the shock absorber, and the adjustment tables 6a, 6b include a connection part and distance adjustment parts 6c, 6d and are detachably set via the connection part. |
