PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier and a humidification air cleaning device capable of maintaining high water absorption performance for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A humidifier, in a ventilation path 14 communicating a suction port 11 and an air outlet 12, includes: blower means 15; a ventilation part 18 which is a part of a humidification filter 16; and a water storage part 20 separated from the ventilation path 14. The humidification filter 16 comprises the ventilation part 18 and a non-ventilation part 19, the non-ventilation part 19 is made of a material or made to be a shape having a relatively high water absorbing property compared with that of the ventilation part 18, and at least a part of the non-ventilation part 19 is immersed in the stored water in a water tank. Thus, a scale component contained in tap water is deposited in the ventilation part 18, and even when water absorption is inhibited, a scale component is hardly deposited in the non-ventilation part 19, so that the water absorption is not inhibited and stable water supply and evaporation can be performed for a long time. |
