<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sheets transported along a sheet passing path for ejection and a double-sided sheet passing path, respectively, from being rubbed together in a sheet ejection port without an increase in size of an apparatus.SOLUTION: An ejection section 307 includes: an ejection roller arranged close to a sheet ejection port, for ejecting a sheet from a first sheet passing path to a sheet ejection port 40; and a reverse roller arranged close to the sheet ejection port 40, for reversing a transport direction of a sheet transported along a second sheet passing path, the ejection roller and the reverse roller being arranged close to each other. A switching lever 306 is provided subsequent to an image forming section, and switches a transport destination of the sheet to the first sheet passing path for transporting the sheet to the ejection roller and to the second sheet passing path for transporting the sheet to the reverse roller. The first sheet passing path and the second sheet passing path are formed such that a travel trajectory of the sheet transported along the first sheet passing path between the ejection roller and the switching lever 306 is substantially identical to a travel trajectory of the sheet transported along the second sheet passing path between the reverse roller and the switching lever 306.</p> |
