PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column protector for a cage truck and its use, for preventing flexural deformation of a column for forming the cage truck, in the present invention.SOLUTION: The cage truck is provided with a bottom plate for placing a cargo and a plurality of side fences for enclosing the cargo. A column protector 1 for the cage truck is composed of: a column protective plate 42 arranged along an outside column provided on the end of the side fences; and locking parts 2 and 3 having a locking projection 46a locking on a support column for supporting the outside column in an end part of the column protective plate 42 or locking on the edge of the outside column, and is detachably installed on at least an abutting surface side of the outside column for abutting on a fixing-binding belt for fixing the cage truck to a transport loading space when transporting by the cage truck, and prevents the outside column from being deformed by abutment of the fixing-binding belt. |
