PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet device having good usability in which a detection region of a sensor is separated downward from a water discharge port and limited.SOLUTION: A faucet device includes: a water discharge port 310 for discharging water downward; a sensor 62 for detecting presence/absence of an object in a detection region 622 which is separated from the water discharge port 310 and limited; a control unit 7 for controlling the water discharge from the water discharge port 310 based on a detection output of the sensor 62; and a sound emitting unit 8. When an object exists in space 64 which is outside of the detection region 622 and which is between the detection region 622 and the water discharge port 310, the control unit 7 stops the water discharge from the water discharge port 310, and also changes a notification sound by the sound emitting unit 8 according to the distance between the detection region 622 and the object. |
