PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erosion and torrent control dam and a construction method of the erosion and torrent control dam, capable of restraining damage, capable of shortening a construction period, and being low even in cost performance, even when a boulder and drift wood collide in a boulder flow, in a permeable type erosion and torrent control dam.SOLUTION: The erosion and torrent control dam 1 is the so-called permeable type dam, and comprises a pair of non-overflow parts 2 (2A ans 2B) for checking an overflow of the boulder flow flowing in from the upstream side. A permeable part T for capturing the boulder flow is also formed between the non-overflow parts 2. A sidewall part 23 is a part formed in opposite end parts of the pair of non-overflow parts 2, and is formed between an upstream surface part 21 and a downstream surface part 22. This sidewall part 23 forms a curved part 23 of an R shape in a plane cross section approaching the permeable part side toward the downstream surface part 22 side from an end part E on the upstream surface part 21 side. The curved part 24 is formed in a substantially circular arc shape. |
