CORROSION POTENTIAL SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion potential sensor capable of continuously detecting a corrosion potential of a structural component during the operation of a nuclear power plant and capable of detecting the occurence time of failure with sufficient accuracy.SOLUTION: The corrosion potential sensor includes an electrode for potential detection on the end of a cylindrical insulator, and the other end of the cylindrical insulator is fixed to one end of a metal housing, and the other end of the metal housing is connected with a mineral insulated cable via an end plug. The core-wire connected to the electrode is connected to the core-wire of a mineral insulated cable through the inside of an insulator. The corrosion potential sensor attached with a gap forming member connected to either one of the core-wire or the metal housing is used in a gap between the core-wire and the metal housing, and a corrosion potential of a T-shaped metal pipe is continuously measured using a potentiometer via a lead wire for measurement.
