PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maintenance time safety device for an elevator, which achieves simplification of a structure, a reduction in cost, and alleviation of a burden on attachment work, and an elevator.SOLUTION: A maintenance time safety device 11 for an elevator includes: a weight 24 for maintenance time; an attachment member 22 that is detachably attached to a balance weight 9; and a string-like body 23 that makes the weight 24 for maintenance time suspended from the attachment member 22 in a position below the balance weight 9. |
