Provided are a system of shielding light from the peripheral region of a photodiode in the pixel of an image sensor, and a method thereof. In an embodiment, a first light shielding layer is formed on a first glue layer. A second glue layer is formed on the first light shielding layer. The formation of the first light shielding layer and the second glue layer is repeated one or more times in order to form light shielding layers and glue layers. Therefore, if a gap is opened in the light shielding layer in an additional process, there is another light shielding layer which shields predetermined light which penetrates the gap. |
