An objective of the present invention is to provide a suction device for a sheet trimming operation. The present invention includes a tubular suction sleeve (10) which has a space portion inside; an inflow guide hole (12) which is provided on a tip end portion side of the suction sleeve (10) so that a trimming sheet (2a), which is cut in a circumference portion of a sheet fabric, flows in; and a suction pressure acting hole (14) which is provided in the suction sleeve (10) and is connected to a suction operating device (16). The suction pressure acting hole (14) is formed at a predetermined position on a base end portion side of the suction sleeve (10) so that foreign substances can be collected while the trimming sheet (2a) is pulled to the space portion in the suction sleeve (10) through the inflow guide hole (12) due to a vacuum pressure acting from the suction pressure acting hole (14) to the space portion in the suction sleeve (10). |
