PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device of a simple configuration, in which a warm-up time and a first print time are improved and the temperature rise of an end can be prevented.SOLUTION: In the fixing device including a fixing rotary body, a pressure rotary body installed opposite to the fixing rotary body, a fixing nip formed by bringing the fixing rotary body and the pressure rotary body into contact with each other, a heating source heating the fixing rotary body, and a uniformly heating member coming into contact with the fixing rotary body, to uniformly heat the fixing rotary body, a heating range is located outside a fixing nip forming range, a first uniformly heating range is located in a central part region in the rotary axis direction of the fixing rotary body and between the downstream end of the fixing nip forming range and the upstream end of the heating range in the rotational direction of the fixing rotary body, and a second uniformly heating range is located closer to an end side than the first uniformly heating range in the rotary axis direction of the fixing rotary body and between the downstream end of the heating range and the upstream end of the fixing nip forming range in the rotational direction of the fixing rotary body. |
