PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal that improves operability of an external display apparatus.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 100 capable of displaying video on an external display apparatus includes: an external output video management section 170 for transmitting a video signal to the external display apparatus 200; a display section 150 for displaying an image; a touch panel control section 130 for accepting a touch operation in an image display area of the display section 150; and an arithmetic section 110 for controlling the operation of the portable terminal 100. The arithmetic section 110 is configured to receive information representing the touch operation on a display section 250 from the external display apparatus 200 and then to make the display section 150 perform a screen operation corresponding to the touch operation specified with the received information on the basis of the size of a display screen of the display section 150 and the size of a display screen of the display section 250. |
