PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood fitting structure of a display device for a vehicle that prevents a hood member from falling from an instrument panel with a minimum space in a case in which an impact load is placed on the instrument panel.SOLUTION: A hood member 10 is provided with a boss part (lock holding projection) 14 which extends in an insertion direction of an engagement claw and extends longer than the engagement claw, and an insertion hole 5 into which the boss part 14 is inserted is bored in the instrument panel 1; and a separation prevention part (flange part 15a) which prevents separation from the insertion hole 5 is formed at a tip part of the boss part 14, and at a peripheral edge of the insertion hole 5, a movement restriction projection (movement restriction rib 9) is provided which extends from the peripheral edge to an insertion direction of the boss part 14, tilts to a radial inner side of the insertion hole 5, and abuts on the separation prevention part (flange part 15a) at the tip of the boss part 14 when an impact load is placed on the instrument panel 1 to cause the engagement claw comes out of an engagement hole 4. |
