PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid that a raw gas continues to be discharged even if a burner 6 which is not installed with a flame rod misfires, and to avoid a cost increase, in a combustion device which comprises a burner unit B in which a plurality of the burners 6 are arranged in parallel, and an ignition plug 71 for igniting the #1-burner 6 arranged at one end in a parallel arrangement direction out of a plurality of the burners 6 constituting the burner unit B and the flame rod 72 for detecting a flame of the #2-burner 6 arranged at the other end of the parallel arrangement direction are arranged, and which makes the other burners 6 constituting the burner unit B catch fires from the #1-burner 6 arranged at one end of the parallel arrangement direction.SOLUTION: Fire catch promotion control is periodically performed during combustion, and the fire catch promotion control is performed by temporarily increasing supply gas amounts of the respective burners 6 which constitute a burner unit B, or temporarily decreasing supply air amounts to the respective burners 6. |
