<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine control system that saves energy by controlling the indicator lights of the washing machine.SOLUTION: The washing machine control system includes: a terminal device 112 for performing data communication with a washing machine 111; a washing machine-side transmitting/receiving unit 115 for transmitting/receiving data to/from the terminal device; input means 117 for turning on and off a power supply and making settings for operation courses; indicator means 116 for indicating settings and an operation state with illumination; a nonvolatile memory 118 provided in the washing machine for storing settings including an extinction time of the indicator means; and control means 119 for controlling a series of operation steps of the indicator means and/or the washing machine. The control means rewrites an extinction time stored in the nonvolatile memory as an extinction time of the indicator means transmitted from the terminal device. It is thereby possible to turn on an indicator light of the indicator means 116 only when necessary and to turn off when not necessary during operation of the washing machine 111. Thus, energy saving can be achieved.</p> |
