PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Doherty amplifier that implements optimum efficiency independently of a modulation signal and a frequency.SOLUTION: The Doherty amplifier includes: a carrier amplifier; a peak amplifier; a Doherty output combiner; a baseband signal distribution section for dividing a baseband signal in two; an RF signal generation section A for outputting an RF modulation signal to be input into the carrier amplifier; a baseband signal generation section A for generating a baseband signal to be input into RF signal generation section A; an RF signal generation section B for outputting an RF modulation signal to be input into the peak amplifier; and a baseband signal generation section B for generating a baseband signal to be input into the RF signal generation section B. The baseband signal generation section B corrects an amplitude characteristic and a phase characteristic of the baseband signal. |
