PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an FA system which reduces data communication amount and suppresses an increase in data storage amount when performing backup or restoration for parameter setting.SOLUTION: The FA system comprises a control apparatus 40, and a PLC 20 for making a backup request and a restoration request for parameter setting to the control apparatus 40. The control apparatus 40 includes: a storage unit for storing combination information which is a combination of the parameter setting; a calculation unit for, when the parameter setting is changed, extracting combination information having the smallest difference from the changed parameter setting from among the combination information and calculating a difference between the parameter setting in the extracted combination information and the changed parameter setting to generate identification information on the extracted combination information and the calculated difference as parameter difference information; and a communication unit for, when a backup request is issued from the PLC 20, transmitting the parameter difference information to the PLC 20. |
