PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of preventing lubricant from being leaked and depleted from a slide member that is arranged on a surface of a nip forming member in contact with a fixing belt and contains the lubricant, suppressing an increase in frictional resistance due to friction between the fixing belt and the nip forming member, and suppressing an increase in driving torque of a pressure roller.SOLUTION: A nip forming member 83 is brought into contact with a pressure roller 81 with a fixing belt 80 held therebetween to form a nip part, and has a slide member 84 containing a liquid lubricant attached to a surface in contact with the fixing belt 80. The nip forming member 83 further has a plurality of inclined weave textures 84a (channels) that are formed on the slide member 84 for flowing the lubricant contained in the slide member 84 toward one direction side of the slide member 84, and a tube 87 (lubricant circulation channel) that is connected with both sides of the weave textures 84a (channels) for circulating the lubricant between the slide member 84 and the nip forming member 83. |
