<p>The present invention relates to a novel Rhodococcus sp. YSPW03 strain and a method for removing perchlorate using the same. The novel Rhodococcus sp. YSPW03 strain isolated from a digestion tank of a sewage and wastewater treatment plant in Wonju, Kangwon Province can significantly remove a high concentration of perchlorate in a short time as compared with various perchlorate reducing microorganisms already known, and thus is useful in a biological process for removing a high concentration of perchlorate present in wastewater, sewage, rivers, soil, or the like.</p> |
