PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording ink having an excellent quick-dry profile and capable of recording, on a printing paper having a coating layer, an image excellent in terms of solidly printed portion homogeneity and scratch resistance while the bleeding thereof is being inhibited.SOLUTION: The viscosity and surface tension of the provided inkjet recording ink are respectively 15 mPa s or above and 34 mN/m or below. The ink includes: water; a self-dispersible pigment; a salt; a water-soluble compound having a hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity coefficient, which is defined by the following formula (A), of 0.26 or above; resin particles a consisting of a first resin and resin particles b consisting of a second resin, whereas the self-dispersible pigment bears two pKa values, whereas the glass transition point Tgof the first resin is 25°C or above, whereas the glass transition point Tgof the second resin is 25°C or below, whereas the difference of Tgand Tgis at least 10°C: formula (A): hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity coefficient=(water activity value of 20 mass% aqueous solution)-(water molar ratio of 20 mass% aqueous solution)/1-(water molar ratio of 20 mass% aqueous solution). |
