PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording ink capable, when printed on a water-absorbent substrate (medium) such as a plain paper, etc., of preventing curling and of recording high-quality images; an ink cartridge; an inkjet recording method; an inkjet recording device; and an ink-recorded matter.SOLUTION: The provided image formation method forms an image by discharging an inkjet ink containing at least water, a dispersion medium consists of two or more types of organic solvents, and a coloring material to a recording medium from a recording head. In the image formation method, the dispersion medium of the ink generates a phase change depending on the water content, and the image is formed by using the ink in which the difference between the water content A of the dispersion medium phase of the ink and the water content B in which the dispersion medium is phase-separated is 10 wt.% or less at 25°C. |
