PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely detect the amplitude of an input signal or the amplitude of an output signal.SOLUTION: A receiving amplification circuit includes at least one amplification circuit for outputting to a signal output terminal an amplified version of a signal input into a signal input terminal, and an amplitude detection circuit 18 for detecting the amplitude of the signal input into the signal input terminal or the amplitude of the signal output to the signal output terminal. The amplitude detection circuit 18 includes a peak detection circuit 100 for holding and outputting a maximum voltage of the signal, a differential central value detection circuit 101 for detecting and outputting an average voltage of the signal, and a difference detection circuit 102 for outputting a signal proportional to a difference between the output of the peak detection circuit 100 and the output of the differential central value detection circuit 101. |
