PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cryogenic temperature cooling apparatus capable of attaining a balanced state between an amount of evaporation and an amount of liquefaction of freezing medium by a simple configuration.SOLUTION: There are provided liquid nitrogen 50 (freezing medium) for cooling an object 60 to be cooled; a cooling tank 20 storing liquid nitrogen 50; a freezer 30 arranged in the cooling tank 20 to cool nitrogen gas; a thermal conducting member 40A arranged in the cooling tank 20 with a high temperature side end part 42 being extended out of the cooling tank 20 and with a low temperature side end part 44 being extended into the cooling tank 20 so as to guide heat outside the cooling tank 20 into the cooling tank 20. In addition, the low temperature side end part 44 is set to a normal state in which an amount of evaporation of liquid nitrogen 50 and an amount of liquefaction of nitrogen gas are balanced and is to a higher position than a liquid level 52 of liquid nitrogen 50 and a lower position than a cooling stage 32 of the freezer 30. |
