<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine capable of reducing wrinkles on clothes even if power failure occurs in dewatering operation.SOLUTION: The washing machine includes: a power shut-off detection means 64 for detecting a shut-off of power and a turning-off of a power supply switch; a nonvolatile memory 65 for storing the content of an operation setting and a progress stage of an operation being executed; and control means 66 for controlling a motor 49 and successively controlling a series of steps of washing, rinsing, and dewatering. The control means 66 restarts an operation from the progress stage of the operation being executed which the nonvolatile memory 65 has stored when power is turned on again after power is shut off not by a normal finish of an operation or a turning-off of the power supply switch, and in the case where the progress stage of an operation being executed which the nonvolatile memory 65 has stored is a dewatering step, the control means 66 restarts the operation from a rinsing step. Thus, it is possible to provide clothing with less wrinkling even if a power shut-off occurs due to a power failure and the like in a dewatering step operation and to improve washing qualities.</p> |
