PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the identification of power cable connection with a highly versatile system.SOLUTION: A power connection device includes: a first and a second power connection unit forming a power supply path therebetween; a control unit having a function to detect a predetermined signal arriving at the first power connection unit from the outside and a function to enable the transmission of a signal having the same format as the predetermined signal to the second power connection unit; a notification unit for issuing a predetermined notification when the control unit detects the predetermined signal; and a switch unit for supplying the control unit with an instruction to transmit the signal having the same format as the predetermined signal.
