PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ashtray capable of doing away with scattering of ash to the neighborhood in cleaning by automatically destroying blocks of the ash collecting in fire-extinguishing holes when throwing out the ash or cigarette butts inside a container body.SOLUTION: An ashtray A comprises: a container body 20 storing cigarette ash or cigarette butts; a rotary ring 30 rotatably and insertably/extractably provided in the container body 20; a lid 10 openably/closably attached to the rotary ring 30; and fire-extinguishing cylinder parts 40 provided in the container body 20, and each formed with a cigarette fire-extinguishing hole 41. The fire-extinguishing cylinder part 40 comprises a pair of cylinder half bodies 40a, 40b, the cylinder half body 40a on a fixing side is provided in an inner circumferential portion 22 of the container body 20, and the cylinder half body 40b on a rotation side is provided in the rotary ring 30. |
