<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner configured to prevent a developing member from being stained with toner, while simultaneously satisfying low-temperature fixability, hot-offset resistance, and heat-resistant stability in a well-balanced manner.SOLUTION: Toner contains at least a binder resin, a colorant, and an external additive. The binder resin contains a crystalline polyester resin, a non-crystalline resin, and a composite resin. The toner contains chloroform insolubles at 1-30 mass%. A molecular weight distribution based on GPC determined by tetrahydrofuran solubles of the toner has a main peak between 1,000-10,000. A half-value width of the molecular weight distribution is 15,000 or less. In measuring an endothermic peak based on DSC of the toner, the endothermic peak is formed in a range of 90-130°C. The external additive contains an inorganic particle treated with silicone oil. The amount of silicone oil in the toner extracted with the chloroform is 0.20-2.0 mass% with respect to the toner.</p> |
