PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method capable of producing a hydroxyapatite porous body having high porosity in a small number of steps.SOLUTION: A production method comprises the steps of: arranging raw material particles containing tricalcium phosphate particles into a recess formed in a mold 2, thereby forming an aggregate composed of the raw material particles in the recess; and subjecting the aggregate to steam treatment in a gas phase.
