PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switched reluctance motor having a structure capable of enhancing the torque that can be outputted.SOLUTION: For each set of two salient poles 6, 6 adjacent in the circumferential direction of a rotor 3, an auxiliary member 8 composed of a diamagnetic material is placed in a recess 7 between two salient poles 6, 6 of each set. The auxiliary members 8 adjacent in the circumferential direction are interconnected so that all auxiliary members 8 arranged in the circumferential direction of the rotor 3 are conducted sequentially in the circumferential direction of the rotor 3 while meandering. |
