The present invention relates to novel metagenome-derived cellulase and, more specifically, to cellulase (celEx-SF301, celEx-SF309, celEx-BR15) selected from a metagenomic library extracted from soil and Korean cattle rumen suspension using a robotic high-throughput screening system, and a method for producing genes coding the cellulase and recombinant cellulase. The three kinds of cellulase, celEx-SF301, celEx-SF309, and celEx-BR15, selected in the present invention have both exoceullase and endocellulase activities, thereby being able to be used for the production of bioethanol using cellulosic biomass, and also used in many industrial fields including the production of textiles, cleaning agents, feed, food, pulp, and paper. |
