PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To handle rolls having various tape widths through a guide member while stabilizing conveyance of a printed tape by a press roller.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a roll storage part 4 which stores a roll 3 having a printed tape 3A rolled; a pair of guide members 20A, 20B which are provided at the roll storage part 4 to leave and approach each other by associatively moving to and away from a right-left center position along a width of the roll 3, and define a width-directional position of the printed tape unwound from the roll while holding the stored roll therebetween; an upper cover unit 5 which covers the roll storage part 4; a press roller 31 which is provided rotatably for the upper cover 5, and comes into contact with a printed tape 3A unwound from the roll 3 nearby an unwinding position; and a pair of recessed parts 36A, 36B which are provided at positions, corresponding to the press roller 31, of the pair of guide members 20A, 20B, and store at least parts of the press roller 31. |
