PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen generation device capable of determining that raw material gas is appropriately supplied by a raw material gas supplier without a flow meter.SOLUTION: A hydrogen generation device 1 is provided with a hydrogen generator 2, a raw material gas path 3, a raw material supplier 4, a combustor 5, a fuel path 6, a fuel gas valve 7, a combustion air supplier 8, an ignition unit 9, and a flame detector 10. Since the raw material supplier 4 and the combustion air supplier 8 are operated with prescribed conveying capability and the ignition unit 9 is operated within first prescribed time, the hydrogen generation device can confirm the presence/absence of ignition and confirm that a flow rate of a booster is normal. Consequently, the hydrogen generation device confirms that the flow rate supplied from the raw material supplier 4 is normal without a flow meter. |
