PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitter having high performance which uniformly distributes current to a light-emitting layer.SOLUTION: A light emitter has a configuration comprising: a semiconductor structure layer 11 including a light-emitting layer 20; and both of first electrode 14 and second electrode 15 which are formed on the first main face side of the semiconductor structure layer. The semiconductor structure layer includes a first trench 17 and second trench 18 inside which are formed so that magnitude of an aperture of a current path in a high resistance direction HD differs from that of a current path in a low resistance direction LD, where the high resistance direction HD is a direction having relatively high electric resistance and the low resistance direction LD is a direction having relatively low electric resistance of directions of current paths in in-plane directions from the first electrode to second electrode. |
