PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of discharging a capacitor while suppressing resistance heating and suppressing an excessive load on a motor or the like.SOLUTION: A motor controller 1 controls operation of a motor 2 connected to a wheel 4 through a clutch 3 capable of making torque transmission with the wheel 4 intermit. The motor controller 1 includes: a microcomputer 11 outputting a motor control signal S_m; a drive circuit 12 supplying drive power to the motor 2 on the basis of the motor control signal S_m; and a capacitor C provided halfway along a power line Lp connecting the drive circuit 12 and a drive power supply 15. The microcomputer 11 supplies power based on charges stored in the capacitor C such that torque occurs in the motor 2 and that an angular velocity becomes a prescribed angular velocity or less, in a state that the torque transmission between the motor 2 and the wheel 4 is shut off by the clutch 3 after a drive relay 16 performs OFF operation. |
