<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cotter insertion assisting tool for assisting insertion of a cotter.SOLUTION: An assisting tool 10 assists insertion of a cotter 8 by making a first penetration hole 71h penetrating to a first support part 71 of a two-mountain clevis type and a second penetration hole 72h penetrating to a second support part 72 of a one-mountain clevis type. The assisting tool 10 comprises an assisting tool body 1 and a coupling tool 2. The assisting tool body 1 has an axial part 1a capable of being penetrated to the first penetration hole 71h and the second penetration hole 72h, an insertion end 1b formed on a tip end of the axial part 1a, and a recess part 1c to which the tip end of the cotter 8 is fitted. The recess part 1c has a pair of projections 1d, 1d projecting from inner walls so as to face to each other, and capable of fitting to an opening end of a first penetration hole 81a of the cotter 8, or an opening end of a second penetration hole 21a provided on a second axial part 2a of the coupling tool 2, and thereby the cotter can be easily inserted into the penetration hole of clevis type.</p> |
