PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital signage system that enables accurate collection of log data more than before when a consumer picks up a commercial article.SOLUTION: A digital signage system comprises: an IC tag 10 that is attached to a commercial article; and a pedestal 20 on which the commercial article is loaded. The digital signage system further has: one or a plurality of readers/writers 21; a management database; and a control part. The reader/writer 21 communicates with the IC tag 10 in a state where the commercial article is loaded on the pedestal 20, and can read ID information peculiar to the IC tag. The management database stores log data relating to separation of the IC tag from the pedestal 20 in association with the ID information. When the control part determines that the commercial article is separated from the pedestal 20, and a communication state between the reader/writer and the IC tag is disconnected, the log data relating to the IC tag 10 having the communication state disconnected is recorded in the management database. |
