VAPOR RECOVERY INSTALLATION AND METHOD OF OPERATING VAPOR DRIER IN THE INSTALLATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vapor recovery installation for recovering vapor from a conveyor carrying dried copper concentrate which recovers vapor generated within a conveyor and powder dust of fine copper concentrate by managing the inside of the conveyor at negative pressure without installation of an additional dedicated dust collector for the conveyor and allows prevention of leakage from a casing and settling due to moisture within the casing and a method of operating a vapor drier.SOLUTION: A vapor drier 2 is for drying copper concentrate 1 used as raw material for copper smelting and is provided with a vapor recovery installation which consists of piping 11 for vapor recovery, with one end communicating with and connected to the sealed inside of a sealed conveyor 4 for carrying copper concentrate and the other end communicating with and connected to a bag filter 6 arranged in the vapor drier, a damper 14 provided in a fan 7 attached to the vapor drier and a damper 12 provided in the inlet of the bag filter. The vapor drier 2 and the conveyor 4 are managed at negative pressure.
