PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image base database construction method for efficiently performing database construction, and for shortening a route search time.SOLUTION: The image base database construction method includes steps of: acquiring the image of an intersection region; extracting feature information from the acquired image of the intersection region; and storing the extracted feature information in association with the information pertinent to the intersection region. Therefore, it is possible to reduce a resource and time required for database construction, and to provide a quick and convenient route search and route guide service to a user.
