<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-checkout device which allows a user himself/herself to remove a crime prevention lock plate.SOLUTION: The self-checkout device comprises: cancellation means for cancelling a crime prevention lock member; reading means for reading information for identifying a commodity; storage means for storing information on each commodity; measurement means for measuring the weight of a commodity; first determination means for comparing the weight of the commodity stored in the storage means with the weight of the commodity measured by the measurement means for determination; second determination means for comparing information read by the reading means with the number of cancellation of the crime prevention lock member by the cancellation means for determination; and notification means for, when the first determination means determines that the consistency is not maintained or when the second determination means determines that the total number is not coincident with each other, notifying of it.</p> |
