PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a satellite observation system that employs an observation satellite and realizes effective usage of observation resources according to a meteorological condition which varies abruptly.SOLUTION: An observation satellite 1 side is provided with plural imaging plans. Included is a feature that preserves observation images produced by pieces of meteorological information acquisition means 2a to 2c that acquire various pieces of meteorological information, and draws out an imaging plan on the basis of latest observation area information, or selects an optimal plan from among plural imaging plans. The observation area information is transmitted from the ground to the observation satellite prior to the beginning of observation, whereby the imaging plan is optimized on an orbit on the basis of the meteorological information on an observation area. |
