FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to timber and wood processing industry and specifically to production of a bioprotective solution for treating wood and wood materials to endow said materials with resistance to biological degradation agents, e.g. fungi. The water-soluble fungicidal composition for wood and wood materials, which is a mixture of boric acid esters polyatomic alcohols, which are a reaction product of fractions of high-boiling by-products of synthesis of 4,4-dimethyl-1,3-dioxane with boric acid. Boric acid is further added to inhibit hydrolysis. Furthermore, the composition contains a bactericide, a quaternary ammonium base - quaternary ammonium salt of a mixture of alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chlorides, where the alkyl is a mixture of normal C10-C18 or C12-C14 alkyl radicals, an antifoaming agent selected from organosilicon compounds and ethylene glycol and water in a certain ratio.EFFECT: disclosed water-soluble fungicidal composition ensures effective protection of wood, for example green timber, from moulds and wood-staining fungi, as well as general protection of wood in conditions without washing, has improved impregnating solution characteristics and stability during prolonged storage.4 tbl |
