FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: electric train comprises head car and trailers with traction induction AC motors engaged via reduction gear with mounted axles and storage batteries with chargers. Electric train is equipped with electrical generators. Every shaft of electrical generator of head and trailer cars is connected with wheels and rails to drive the rotor of said electrical generator by friction between wheels and rails at train motion. Every said windmill is connected via transformer and thyristor inverters with DC traction motors of head car and trailer with chargers and storage batteries. The latter are arranged under bodies of said cars and connected with tubular electric heaters arranged in water boilers in car heat circuits.EFFECT: power savings, non-polluting operation.4 dwg
