FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: method involves making of bevels (4), (5) on the ends (1), (2) of a tubular billet (3), moulding of the tubular billet (3) in split dies by axial setting of its end surfaces (1), (2) with simultaneous application of internal pressure of the filler (6) and supporting of the pipe bend being moulded (10) by a back-up punch (11). The volume of metal removed from the tubular billet ends is optimised due to the fact that prior to the second and the following transitions of tee (12) moulding the shape of each bevel (4), (5) is adjusted so that the lengths of arches' (14) chords of the tubular billet (3) end surfaces (1), (2) being set are equal to the diameter of the tee (12) pipe bend (10) being stamped.EFFECT: prevention of formation of corrugations on the surface of a tubular billet in the process of moulding an unequal tee from it.5 dwg, 1 ex |
