Disclosed are an interactive server, a display device, and a method for controlling the same. The interactive server according to the present invention comprises: a communication unit to communicate with a display device; an extraction unit to extract a speech element from a speech voice received from the display device; a determination unit to determine whether there is entity information representing an execution object in the extracted speech element; and a control unit to generate response information based on the extracted speech element if there is the entity information in the extracted speech element, or generate guide information for inducing an additional speech of a user based on prestored speech voice information if there is no entity information, and then transmit the generated information to the display device. According to the present invention, the interactive server enables a user to keep having a conversation so that an intention of the user can be interpreted accurately without finishing a response service in an incomplete speech voice. |
