The present invention relates to a system and a method for issuing an electronic receipt. The system of the present invention comprises a sale managing device to pay for a purchased product or a provided service, to generate payment detail information, and to transmit the generated payment detail information to an electronic receipt issuing device; the electronic receipt issuing device to generate electronic receipt information based on the payment detail information, and to transmit the electronic receipt information to a user terminal, if the user terminal is recognized through a near field communications within the predetermined certain time; and the user terminal to convert the electronic receipt information received through the near field communications to an electronic receipt image to be displayed, to analyze the electronic receipt information or the electronic receipt image to extract purchase details, and to calculate consumption detail information based on the extracted purchase details. |
