The present invention relates to a vehicle air conditioning apparatus and, more specifically, to a vehicle air conditioning apparatus as a system having a first evaporation part, a second evaporation part, a first electronic expansion valve, and a second electronic expansion valve, wherein the first and the second electronic expansion valves are capable of expanding a refrigerant supplied to the first and the second evaporation parts, and controlling the flow rate of the refrigerant. According to the present invention, the first and the second electronic expansion valves are separately controlled to differentially control the distribution amount of the refrigerant, which is supplied to the first and the second evaporation parts, according to loads on the first and the second evaporation parts, so the degrees of super heat in the first and the second evaporation parts and a refrigerant distribution ratio between the first and the second evaporation parts can be freely controlled, thereby obtaining an optimal cooling performance and an optimal coefficient of performance (COP) under various load conditions. In addition, the flow rate of the refrigerant in the second evaporation part is reduced under a high-RPM condition, so the cooling performance can be improved and power consumption in a compressor can be reduced, thereby maximizing the rise of the COP. |
